CLA paper bemoans Government's a poor policy on rural broadband

Major rant by Country Landowners & Business Assoc. on the Government and Local Government's approach to rural broadband. Particularly scathing about BDUK and failure to allow piggybacking on public sector broadband networks.

More on the government policy for the Universal Service Commitment of 2Mbps (that's the commitment BDUK is asking the folk in Ashurst and Stonecross to accept for the next 10 or so years).

Ofcom think 30 Mbps is sensible, with 50% of folk having 50 Mbps. Nobody talks about UPLOAD speeds - these are all download speeds. More in the article ... enjoy!
