Found this today ...

It looks like BDUK's approach of "you get it our way, not your way, this ain't burger king" and the influence they have on getting BT to "share" access via PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) to the ducts they have in the ground is being exposed for what it is.

Little items like:

a) Not allowed to use it to provide business services
b) Not allowed to use it to run fibre to rural areas
c) Not allowed to use it to put wireless connectivity at the end to reach *really* hard "not spots"

Makes the 2+ years of negotiation with BT look rather futile in my opinion. And it is only "my" opinion - what do you think?
